A 2 hour workshop filled with knowledge and practices relating to balancing the 7 energy centers in the body called Chakras. Included in the workshop: basic and applicable knowledge of the chakras presented in an easy to understand way, handouts, practices, meditations, and discussions.
UNDERSTANDING AYURVEDA AND THE DOSHAS
A 3 hour workshop is filled with ancient Ayurvedic knowledge about the Doshas. Doshas are the three basic energies that make up the human body. Everyone has a unique combination of these Doshas; Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. The imbalance of Doshas are the precursor to every dis-ease in the body. Included in the workshop: Ayurvedic assessment to learn your specific Dosha, assessing any imbalances, learning specific yoga poses and lifestyle adjustments to balance your body.
This 2 hour workshop is suitable for all levels including beginners. The workshop begins with a mix of gentle asana designed to relax and rejuvenate the entire body followed by a 60 minute Yoga Nidra session. Yoga Nidra is a deep guided relaxation/meditation exercise that enables the practitioner to enter a state of complete relaxation induced by the guided inward rotation of the mind, the senses, and awareness along with a physical release of the body. This class is a positive way to de-stress and recharge. 1 hour of yoga nidra equals a 4 hour nap!
